Happy Father's Day! This Sunday we honor all the fathers, father figures, and mentors who have shaped lives with love, strength, and presence. We also recognize that this day can bring mixed emotions for some-know that you are seen, loved, and held by a God who is the perfect Father to us all.

Help Shape the Future of Our Church - Survey Closes This Sunday, June 15th!
The Evangelical Covenant Church has created a valuable tool called the Periodic Health Checkup (pH P) to help congregations reflect on three key areas: Missional Identity, Vision, and Leadership.
Our Leadership Board is inviting everyone in our church family to take just 15 minutes to complete this online survey by Sunday, June 15th.
Why is this important?
Because your honest feedback will directly guide how our staff and board approach strategic planning this summer.

Do you enjoy reading and discussing thought-provoking books with others? Are you curious about how great authors explore the Christian journey through storytelling?
If so, we invite you to join the Community Covenant Book Club! This new group launched last month and is already becoming a great space for conversation and connection. Our next meeting is on Wednesday, June 25th at 3:00 PM in the Media Room at church.
The Book Club is open to everyone and meets on the last Wednesday of each month.
Our first book is Out of the Silent Planet by C.S. Lewis-the first volume in his Space Trilogy. (Yes, Lewis wrote science fiction!) Copies are available on Amazon for around $1.

Beach Baptism and BBQ - August 17th
We're looking forward to a special day at Goleta Beach on Sunday, August 17th-right after the service-for a time of baptisms, celebration, and a bring-your-own-meat BBQ/potluck. Bring something to grill and a dish to share as we enjoy community and new life in Christ together!
If you're interested in being baptized, we'd love to hear from you! We'll be scheduling a Baptism Class later this summer, and your interest will help us plan. Reach out today so we can walk alongside you in this important step of faith.
We're excited to share that several individuals have taken the next step in their faith journey by applying for membership at Community Covenant Church. Membership is an important expression of commitment to the life and mission of our church family.
The following have submitted an application for membership at CCC and have had a favorable review by the Leadership Board:

In accordance with our church bylaws, any objections to a prospective member shall be addressed in writing to the Leadership Board citing the basis for the objection.

Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibit Trip - Sign Up This Sunday!
Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on Thursday, July 10, 2025, to see the Dead Sea Scrolls and over 200 artifacts from the Second Temple period. This is the only West Coast venue hosting this powerful exhibit from the Israel Antiquities Authority.

Goodies have been a little light lately, and we want to keep this time special and inviting.
