Here are some projects currently in the works at CCC:

Congregational Outreach Initiatives
Carrillo Apartments / West Side Kids Club: We are building relationships down at Carrillo Apartments and The Village and planting seeds for a ministry of community development in that neighborhood.

Task Force Outreach Initiatives

Human Trafficking: A group of young women from CCC are looking for ways to raise awareness about this violation of human dignity and justice.

Haiti: We have several people interested in reaching out to those in Haiti. We are looking for potential task force members to discern next steps.

Safe Parking: CCC is registered to provide safe parking overnight for women and children living in their cars. Below is a video that highlights this ministry, shown Sunday morning, 7/25/2010.

Personal Outreach Initiatives
Warming Shelters: We have an opportunity to serve as an inclement weather shelter for those without homes.

Foster Care: Two of our CCC congregants would like to consider ways we can minister to foster kids in our area.

Other Possible Outreach Projects
Habitat for Humanity is looking for churches to partner with them in building homes for those in our community.

Love Santa Barbara is looking for people to join in a city-wide church initiated clean-up program.
